What makes Jamie Sharp knives the best

My carving knives are the best I can make them. Here are the reasons why!

Sharpness: I have spent years learning how to properly sharpen knives to meet the demands of carvers and mine are the sharpest I have ever seen. The 15 degree included angle on my knives is sharp enough to go through cedar like a hot knife through butter and is designed for the softwoods northwest carvers most commonly carve.

Durable: My knives are extremely durable. A custom heat treat process designed around the requirements for heat treating small blades allows them to be much stronger then most. A unique epoxy casting method encapsulates the blade into the handle, combined with strong twine bindings results in a completely secure blade.

Sustainability: My knives are made of exceptionally high quality tool steel recycled from local mill saws. I ship with recycled expanded paper packaging material. I hope to make as little impact on the environment as possible so the future generations can enjoy this planet.

Hand Made: Everything is hand made in Canada and every dollar you spend goes directly to the knife maker. Only the logo on the handle is laser cut with a CNC as I found that is just the best way to apply it to the handle and is much cleaner then a wood burning stamp. Most of the equipment I use is also made by myself.

1 Year warranty: I stand behind my knives. On the off chance it does fail in typical use I will replace your broken knives.
